NDC Vision & Objective Statement
Council 5 Year Vision Statement
"and the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak and not lie..." Habakkuk 2:2-3
The following vision statement reflects much prayer and humble supplication. It is an endeavor to bring resources to the framework and staff that are already present inorder to continue the work of the Kingdom of God. This vision statement has been devised with four key focus areas that when properly maintained will produce the desired goal - a viable council progressing and winning more souls. The focal points here will be administrative empowerment, educational empowerment, financial empowerment and sustenance, and evangelistic empowerment.
Administrative Empowerment Goal: To collaborate with current council staff and review the existing operational strategies and
protocol in order to develop the most effective and progressive procedures that will insure the overal efficiency of the council (i.e the consistent and regular use of email blasts, email communication, webinars, conference calls, interactive council website, etc). The administrative endeavors will also include seminars and workshops for staff on teh steps to take in order to attain federal 501c3 tax exempt status. The attainment of this status will then make it possible for the council to obtain federally marked grant funds that can be used to further strengthen the administrative and financial arms of the council.
Educational Empowerment Goal: To collaborate and review with current staff the educational vision for the council in order to prepare leaders for 21st century ministry and beyond (i.e. Aenon Apple Program, National Certification Programs for deacons, armorbearers, worship leaders, Christian Education directors and teachers, Pastors and Christian counselors, Altar Workers, foreign missions staff, etc). The educational plan will also look to enhance and create Bible Institutes and colleges throughout the Council.
Financial Empowertment and Sustenance Goal: Across the country, many churches are struggling and faltering under the pressures of these turbulent times. This financial vision is submitted with the desire to help offer stability. The goal is to collaborate with the current staff to review teh ministry of financial helps with the desire to be able to offer assistance with church emergencies (i.e. water/roof damage, furnace break downs, fire damage, damage due to unforseen natural catastrophe etc.), and to review the current policy and procedure for general fundraising for scholarships, outreach events, ministry startups, etc.
Evangelistic Empowerment Goal: To collaborate with current staff to enhance and create plans for growing the council through a variety of venues including, but not limited to, the following: a 5 year goal of increasing by 30 churches. This endeavor will include the startup of new churches, reuniting and reconnecting with churches that have left teh council and inviting them to join witha vibrant and progressive vision, council open houses to invite neighboring apostolic churches that are not part of any council, developing a working relationship with the campus ministries and student affairs' committees from neighboring colleges, instituting college night during the council, partnering with the Interantional Foreign Missions Department of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, and collaborating and partnering with neighboring councils for outreach events.
