District Elder Robert Hibbs Jr. was born march 20, 1968 to bishop Robert Hibbs Sr. and Lady Louise Hibbs. District Elder Hibbs Jr. has studied under the leadership of his father; he received the calling from the Lord into the ministry at 19 years of age. He became an evangelist in the Holy Tabernacle Churches, Inc and, at the age of 24, became a full time evangelist – traveling with Evangelist Ken Douglas. Their travels were extensive throughout the United States and Europe. After his travels, he returned home in 1994 and shortly thereafter became the Assistant Pastor of Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ (Bishop Robert Hibbs Sr., Pastor).District Elder Hibbs was ordained in 1996. Due to the illness of Bishop Robert Hibbs Sr., District Elder Hibbs Jr. received the mantle. He came back home to the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World in 2001. As a member, he has worked as the Vice Chairman of the Northeast District Council and has been involved in overseas efforts in South Africa with Bishop Robert Jones. District Elder Hibbs Jr. is blessed to be married to Janice Hibbs, the “first lady of his life.” He is a loved husband, father, and grandfather. He has a great passion for the young people and for the Northeast District Council.
