Suffragan Bishop Henry W. Seemore, Sr. is the Pastor of the House of Prayer #5 Apostolic Church of God, Inc., located at 848 Main Street, Brockton, Massachusetts, where he has been serving God since March 1983- present. Suffragan Bishop Seemore is a proud native of Chicago, Illinois.
Suffragan Bishop Seemore was saved under the leadership of Pastor Ella Mae Davis, House of Prayer Apostolic Church of God, in Kankakee, Illinois in 1961. While a member of said ministry, he served as “Youth Leader”, Usher Board Member, and member of “The Board of Deacons,” and later called into this ministry. Suffragan Bishop Seemore served faithfully under Pastor Davis while in Kankakee, IL and to this day is proud to call her both “Mother” and “Pastor”.
Suffragan Bishop Seemore was founder and Pastor of House of Prayer #2 in Fischbach, Germany from March 1973 to July 1979. He was blessed to see this ministry grow from six members to over 300. Many souls, both German nationals and Americans, were baptized in the name of Jesus and filled with the Holy Ghost. Fifteen ministers were born in this ministry, seven of whom are presently pastors. To God’s glory, elements of this ministry are still in existence in Fischbach today.
Pastor Seemore is a graduate of the U.S. Army High School Education Program. He has a BA in Sociology from Loyola University; a BA in Theology and Diploma in Biblical Studies from The Apostolic Christian College and Logos Graduate School. He has a Diploma of General Bible Course from Liberty Home Bible Institute, Advanced Studies in Prophecy and Graduate of Biblical Studies from Institute of Biblical Studies (Liberty University); extensive studies from Aenon Bible College and numerous courses in Human/Race relations.
Pastor Seemore is a highly decorated Army Retiree with over 20 years of service. He served two tours in the Republic of Vietnam. He holds a Bronze Star for Valor, Air Medal for 25 combat missions, and numerous other military awards and commendations. Pastor Seemore is also the recipient of the Chapel Volunteer of the Year Award from “The General Commission of Chaplains and Armed Forces Personnel” (1978 – 1979).
Pastor Seemore is married to Mary (Ware) Seemore, his wife since April 1961 and the proud father of 4 children: Henry Jr., David, Kimberly, and Traci.
