The Man and the Vision

Bishop Michael D. Hannah, Sr., is the Pastor and Founder of the Life Celebration Center located Baltimore, MD. He celebrated his Silver Pastoral Anniversary this year. He has been married to his of thirty-eight years, Evangelist Jeanette Hannah and from this union has three children.

He is gifted with the ability to open the Word of God in a manner that is accessible to everyone. He explores the Word holistically, ministering to the spirit man, as well as the natural man. Along with a number of accomplishments, Bishop Hannah is the Executive President of the Aenon Bible College, Inc., Director of the International Usher Board for the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World (P.A.W.). He is president of the community inter-faith organizations, Clergy Leadership Improving Metropolitan Baltimore (C.L.I.M.B.), and Churches in Action (C.I.A.) community group in partnership with the Western District Police.

Prior to becoming the Northeast District Council's third Diocesan, Bishop Hannah was the diocesan bishop of the 47th Episcopal District of Kenya, Africa. There are approximately 350 churches, which make up this district. He has worked along with other pastors to establish the first Bible Institute (Aenon) in Kenya. In addition, to this he has devoted his time, energy, and resources to the support and development of a Foreign Mission Aide Program to assist over 30,000 Kenyans with their everyday lives. These programs also aid in the development of new ministries in and around a number of Kenyan cities.

In the fall of 2000, Bishop Hannah authored his Power Book Series, A Secret Place…Beyond the Veil, which nominated as “Book of the Month,” in many bookstores throughout Baltimore City. It inspired the reader to go to a place in worship that they had never experienced. Since the publication of that book, he has completed the series. The other titles in the series include Finally, its Your Turn, and The Other Side Through.

Because of the progressive ministry that God has blessed Bishop Hannah with; he is one of the most sought after international speakers in the country.
